Tickhill Horticultural Society was formed in 1984 by a small group of enthusiastic gardeners. It has subsequently grown into a thriving society with well over a hundred members. We are affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society.
We meet eleven times a year at the Methodist Church Hall on Northgate, in the centre of Tickhill. Meetings start at 7:15pm and are generally held on the last Thursday of evey month (see Programme for details).
We hold ten meetings at which guest speakers give talks on various horicultural subjects which we consider will be of interest to our members; the eleventh is our Annual General Meeting.
Our Society also participates in and supports activities and events by other organisations within the town.
New members are always welcome. If you are interested in joining please come along to any of our meetings where you will be made most welcome.
If you would like any further information then please contact our Secretary (see Contacts page) or or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
The highlight of the Society's year is our annual show. The Tickhill Horticultual Society show is held in September at the Methodist Church. The show utilises the complete church and grounds to showcase the interests and talents of the wider Tickhill community. Please see our Show Page for further information.
